Description PBX Operator - COMMUNICATIONS 1 Department, Providence St. Mary Medical Center, Walla Walla, WA One Revenue Cycle (ORC) is the name adopted to reflect the Providence employees who work throughout Providence Health & Services (PH&S) in revenue cycle systems and structures in support of our ministries and operations in all regions from Alaska to California. The PBX Operator receives and processes all external, internal and long-distance calls to and from the facility within productivity standards. The PBX Operator must communicate effectively with compassion and sensitivity, anticipating the needs of patients, families, physicians and their office staff, co-workers, supervisors and other hospital staff departments. In addition, will provide superior customer service that meets or exceeds the expectations of patients, visitors, physicians and staff. The incumbent performs all duties in a manner that promotes the Providence mission, values, and philosophy.
