Desired qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Master’s degree or related additional coursework

  • Previous experience using SalesForce.com

  • Pharmacy, healthcare, or specialty pharmacy sales experience with a knowledge of rare diseases and market conditions

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products

  • Experience in working with all levels of management and consulting with key business stakeholders

  • Experience managing a geographic territory

Required qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related are of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience

  • 2-3 years’ work experience in outside sales

Additional Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and demonstrated success leading projects to completion

  • Ability to think creatively and independently to influence doctors and medical staff to utilize AllianceRx Walgreens Prime

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as the role is virtual

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with experience creating documentation

  • Proven sales track record indicating accomplishment and success

  • Willing to travel up to 75% of time within the local territory and 25% of time outside of the local territory for business purposes

Job description:

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for creating and executing sales and marketing strategy to drive sales and market share for a designated market/region by initiating face to face calls to prescribers in their assigned region. The role is responsible for selling Alliance Rx Walgreens Prime products and services through targeted physicians/physician groups, medical clinics, and community hospitals. The position is also responsible for fostering ongoing trust through relationship management and providing accurate and timely follow-up discussions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for finding new referral sources, such as physician practices or service organizations that could increase sales for Alliance Rx Walgreens Prime

  • Lead participation in prescriber’s offices, support groups, seminars and related workshops to contribute to Alliance Rx Walgreens Prime business

  • Execute provider penetration strategy with the Sales and Account Management teams

  • Make recommendations for program enhancements and requests for changes to meet business and client needs

  • Other responsibilities as judgment or necessity dictate
