What you will do

Help the Western Canada region achieve assigned quota by taking a consultative approach to clinical communication sales, clinical education, and related demonstration of all Vocera products and programs. Associate Sales Account Managers will partner with their Account Manager colleagues in Western Canada to focus on the growth of the territory by identifying new customer sales opportunities and work with existing customers to expand Vocera within the enterprise.

  • Responsible for calling on IT, departmental managers, and key stakeholders, within the hospital and/or Provincial Authority

  • In partnership with the Western Canada sales team and Business Unit Manager, assists the implementation of the set business plans to identify, support and close business.

  • Assists with preparing forecasts for yearly, quarterly and monthly business where applicable with Western Canada sales team.

  • Participates in sales workshops, sales meetings, and/or promotional activities as requested by Vocera and/or Marketing Leadership and Medical Division.

  • Provide current customers with excellent post-sale follow up (communication and management of delivery dates, coordination and handoff with Professional Services team and review utilization post go live).

  • Collaborates closely with Western Canada colleagues on strategy, RFP responses, and enhancing Vocera's value across the territory.

  • Actively participates in national, regional, and local trade shows.

  • Effectively manages assigned territory coverage via planning, coordination, and overnight travel.

  • Aligns and drives to Stryker's Mission and Vision Statement.

What you need

  • Bachelor's or Post Secondary Degree, or equivalent work experience required

  • 1+ year of professional experience.

  • Strongly preferred healthcare IT, medical device or clinical sales experience and

  • education

  • Must possess valid driver license and a good driving record.

  • Internal applicants with an equivalent combination of education, experience and performance over time at Stryker will be considered
