Description
Position Purpose
Develop and implement the business strategy for the HEM product portfolio, with both short-term and long-term business objectives.
Oversee and lead all marketing and sales plans to achieve the business objectives within policies and guidelines as well as Business Unit budget.
Deliver the agreed forecast budget and business plan – top and bottom-line metrics – full P&L responsibility.
Inspire and lead the commercial team to deliver outcomes and maximize their potential.
Key Responsibility Areas
Lead marketing and sales activities to ensure that short- and long-range sales volumes and projects are achieved.
Develop and implement short- and long-range sales and marketing plans.
Oversees the development of sales and marketing processes.
Formulate marketing objectives, policies, sales organization structure, sales and marketing plans to achieve maximum sales and profit.
Provide input for the development of products which anticipates and serves customer needs.
Identify new markets and applications to assure volume growth.
Inspire and motivate organization and demonstrate inclusive and Credo-based leadership.
Be a coach, mentor and appraise subordinates and others’ performance and development.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Preferred minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
MBA or Master’s degree preferred
Preferred area of study:
Business Administration and/or Life Sciences
Preferred related industry experience:
Pharmaceuticals, Strategy Consulting
Knowledge and Experience:
10 years related commercial experiences
At least 5 years of marketing experience in pharma industry and people management experience
In depth knowledge of Japan healthcare environment and systems
Pharma sales experience is an advantage
Preferably experience in Oncology
Excellent track record in past positions
