Description

The Associate Director, Worldwide Franchise Strategy & Operations is responsible for leading a cross-functional matrix team to streamline and optimize operations and drive market engagement strategies to impact business performance. This individual will focus on developing innovative solutions to simplify operations across the Worldwide Brand Teams (WWBT), identifying inefficiencies, and ensuring solutions are aligned with brand strategy. The individual will work directly with the Worldwide Brand Team and Cross Functional leadership and gain exposure to the local markets across the organization. The role will report directly to the Director, Worldwide Commercial Strategy & Operations and Performance Management, with dotted reporting to the Senior Director, WWC Oncology Strategy & Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic thought partner to Brand Leads, identifying opportunities for simplification

  • Plan and facilitate the Unified Strategic Planning (USP) process, including facilitating meetings to develop the strategic summary, disseminate to the markets, and coordinate timelines for USP process

  • Support cross functional brand team meetings as they prepare for Launch

  • Anticipate business needs around key events and proactively develop strategic plans to address needs and facilitate achievement of key decision points

  • Drive commercial component of governance process; Lead the scheduling and development of key presentations within the governance process

  • Summarize knowledge and market learnings for dissemination to markets to enable more efficient launch preparations and quick response to market events for in-market indications

  • Facilitate requests for information from the WWBTs to the markets, with a focus on identifying more efficient knowledge-sharing methods to reduce the workload on the market teams

  • Coordinate and support budgeting process, including projection cycles, annual functional planning, and ad hoc budget requests from leadership

  • Partner with the WWBT to identify opportunities as required to reallocate resources as needed and ensure that the team meets their OpEx budget

  • Support ad-hoc strategic projects as requested by leadership (i.e., Town Halls, Global Interchange, Meetings across Medical, Commercial, and Access to share learnings across the markets leading into key Congresses)

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have a BA/BS degree or equivalent; MBA is preferred

  • Marketing, Medical, or Operations experience preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders up, down and across the organization

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with the ability to design and implement multiple projects simultaneously

  • Demonstrated experience in successfully executing projects across multi-functional teams including appropriate business updates and completion within required timeframe

  • Concise and impactful oral and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated strong project management skills
