Robert Half Paralegal in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal in the field of Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a Paralegal, you will be expected to coordinate with attorneys and courts, schedule litigation mediations, depositions, hearings, and trials, as well as handle e-filing and serving of legal documents. Your role will also include drafting pleadings, trial preparations, and managing complex tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with attorneys and courts to schedule litigation mediations, depositions, hearings, and trials

• Efficiently handle e-filing and serving of legal documents

• Manage scheduling to drafting pleadings and trial preparations

• Utilize case management software such as Litify and LexisNexis for efficient case handling

• Handle personal injury and medical malpractice cases with professionalism and efficiency

• Use Microsoft Excel for data management and tracking responsibilities

• Administer billing functions related to case management

• Manage calendar for attorneys and paralegals

• Handle personal injury litigation and medical malpractice cases with due diligence

• Administer claim administration and complaint handling effectively. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal.

• Demonstrated expertise in Adobe Acrobat, Case Management Software, LexisNexis, and Microsoft Excel.

• Proven experience with a management system and handling billing functions.

• Ability to draft briefing documents and handle complaint administration.

• Skilled in calendar management and claim administration.

• Proficient in handling personal injury litigation and personal injury plaintiffs' cases.

• Familiarity with medical malpractice law.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent research and investigative abilities.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

• Bachelor's degree in Law or related field is preferred.

• Professional certification as a Paralegal is a plus.
