Robert Half Data Analyst in Newark, New Jersey

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Data Analyst in Newark, New Jersey. This role primarily revolves around data management and analysis in the technology industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and managing data collection systems, generating reports, and providing training on data management and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage existing data collection and analysis systems.

• Conduct quality assurance checks on the data and highlight areas of concern.

• Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly Excel reports for various stakeholders.

• Assist in data interpretation and identifying opportunities for improvement.

• Create data summaries including visualizations, dashboards, and written descriptions of data findings for various audiences.

• Develop tables and graphs that support learning and drive improvement.

• Create ad hoc reports as requested, gathering necessary information to complete these requests.

• Provide training on data management and reporting requirements during the onboarding of new providers.

• Provide ongoing technical assistance to staff and providers in submitting, accessing, and analyzing data.

• Participate in program review team meetings and provide data support for periodic program reviews.

• Identify data patterns and trends that indicate opportunities for improvement in data collection, reporting, and clinical and administrative practices.

• Attend meetings with internal and external stakeholders to present data and key findings. Requirements • Proficiency in Data Analysis

• Experience in Data Visualization

• Demonstrated ability in Monthly Reporting

• Proven track record in Quality Assurance

• Advanced knowledge of statistical and analytical tools

• Ability to interpret and analyze large amounts of data

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Proficiency in using data analysis software

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, economics, or a related field

• Work experience as a Data Analyst or in a related field

• Familiarity with data management tools

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

• Strong understanding of databases and data extraction

• Knowledge of data cleaning and data preprocessing procedures

• Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
