Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Costing Clerk to join our team on a contract to hire basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the manufacturing industry and be responsible for accurately calculating and managing costs associated with our manufacturing processes. This role is crucial for maintaining cost efficiency and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Calculation: Accurately calculate production costs, including labor, materials, and overhead, for various manufacturing projects.

• Data Management: Maintain and update cost records, ensuring all data is accurate and current.

• Reporting: Prepare detailed cost reports and summaries for management, highlighting any variances or discrepancies.

• Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts by providing detailed cost information.

• Collaboration: Work closely with production, finance, and procurement teams to gather necessary cost data and provide insights for cost-saving opportunities.

• Compliance: Ensure all costing activities comply with company policies and industry standards.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience as a Costing Clerk in the manufacturing industry.

• Skills: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Education: An associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.

• Attitude: Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks with tight deadlines.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
