Job Description:

Accreditation Substantive Change – Manages and maintains the university’s substantive change record in accordance with institutional accreditation standards, including notifications and approvals along with supporting documentation for submission to the university’s institutional accreditor. Manages the implementation of the university’s substantive change policy to ensure compliance with the institutional accreditor. Create and revise substantive change policies as necessary to ensure compliance when new policies are created by the institutional accreditor, as well as review current institutional policies for efficiency and compliance.

Provides recommendations and facilitates the analysis of transition to a new institutional accreditor, including creating timelines for deliverables and determining priorities of deliverables. Develop and maintain an ongoing library of key data and documentations as evidence of compliance.

Support the accreditation process by working collaboratively with faculty, staff, and administrators to complete the variety of complex tasks necessary to maintain institutional and specialized accreditations. Work closely and collaboratively with lead University personnel to identify compliance responsibilities, advise on efficient methods of operation, and coordinate the collection and organization of narratives, materials, and evidence that documents processes.

Maintain institutional accreditation websites; ensure catalogs and other institutional documents adhere to policies and procedures for public notification of accreditation membership and status. Draft, prepare, review, and/or edit self-studies for accreditation; compile and prepare reports in support of self-studies and other accreditation-related reports and requirements.

Assist in conducting periodic and ongoing reviews of institutional policies and practices in compliance with institutional and programmatic accreditation standards. Assist in coordination, planning, and execution of site visits.

Expected Salary:

Commensurate with education and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree in appropriate area or a bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Incumbent must be proficient in Adobe, Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Ease with learning new programs.
