We are establishing a new and exciting HR People Center organization within Flowserve that will take on critical, operational Human Resources work with a goal of increasing collaboration, leveraging shared knowledge, and creating a more consistent associate experience. Role summary:

The HR Partner Specialized Care (M/F/T) is a subject matter expert and will handle escalated associate or manager/supervisor inquiries. You will ensure that associates have access to necessary support and that we remain compliant with any country requirements. In this role will report into the Manager, Specialized Care EMA North & West.

Your tasks:

  • Understand and be able to communicate HR policies, processes, and procedures

  • Provide coaching and counsel on performance, compensation, career development, etc. that align with and support the business strategy

  • Effectively guide leaders through difficult situations, employee relations and conflict

  • Ask critical questions in order to evaluate situation and provide guidance

  • Maintain broad-based knowledge of the organization and its operations

  • Effectively and efficiently navigate complex global organizations to resolve issues

  • Provide relevant updates and/or concerns regarding service delivery model for selected countries

  • Oversee policy & compliance

  • Support the implementation of global HR strategies

  • Escalated self-service transactions

  • Performance Management (Coaching, Discipline & PIP)

  • Development of personnel policy initiatives based on corporate goals in intensive cooperation with the managers of stakeholder departments

Your profile:

  • Completion of vocational training in accordance with the German Vocational Training Act (BBiG) and an additional subsequent specialized HR qualification, e.g., as a HR specialist

  • 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably as an HR Specialist

  • Experience in HR Shared Services Operations, HR Business partnering, or HR Service Delivery is preferred

  • Experience with negotiations with labour representation

  • Experience in a company with collective agreement is desirable

  • Fluent verbal and written German

  • Excellent verbal and written English

  • Exceptional customer service, emotional intelligence and empathy

  • Thorough with responses to inquiries and issues

  • Strong consultative skills and ability to influence without direct authority

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills

  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality

  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws and regulations
