Join our dynamic Client's team Commercial Contracting space, who is seeking a skilled Controller to oversee financial operations.

As the Controller, you'll be at the heart of our financial operations, managing everything from AP/AR to Job Cost accounting and payroll. Your role will involve maintaining accurate accounting records, producing monthly financial statements, and ensuring compliance with business and contractor licenses and tax reporting.

In addition to your financial duties, you'll play a key role in administering our DCI 401(k) plan and managing our business and employee insurance programs. We value candidates who bring at least 7 years of accounting experience, preferably within the construction industry, and hold a bachelor's degree in accounting (advanced degrees are a plus!).

If you have excellent communication skills, experience with Construction software, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, you'll fit right in. Familiarity with Sage 300 or similar construction accounting systems is also highly desirable.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Auditing procedures

• Understanding of Budget Processes

• Experience in Construction Accounting a plus

• Proficiency in in-house Payroll processes

• Ability to maintain and operate the General Ledger

• Experience in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements
