EMEIA Customer Engineering Product Specialist
In this newly created role, you will be shaping and defining our approach to creating and managing product specifications for Engines, Gensets and Coolpacs, both here at Daventry and beyond. Building collaborative relationships across our engineering, product, customer, and application teams you will have a pivotal role in working through the ambiguity and creating clear systems, ways of workings and final product spec’s.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Taking ownership of Customer Engineering & Application Engineering activities for PowerGen EMEIA, with a focus on Daventry plant products.
Engine COLS spec creation and maintenance.
Support for VPI/LPR Cummins Online Specifications (COLS) spec creation.
GCE ownership of the EMEIA Coolapc products including MCAD updates and page management.
Acting as the interface between the engineering teams, manufacturing plant, plant EPS team and internal business customers such as G-Drive. As well as the IEA (Engine) engineering and Powergen engineering teams.
Collaborating with the EMEIA team including colleagues in India to provide coverage of all relevant products including Coolpac activities.
As the central point of contact you will maintain the Coolpac Global Customer Engineering (GCE) data.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making.
Experience of developing technical specifications and implementing new design configurations.
Product, application, and market knowledge to support OEM product selection and equipment design.
Comfortable working with complex and often ambiguous scenarios, including listening and acknowledging various perspectives.
Enjoys building relationships across multifunctional teams and being highly motivated to create consensus and deliver objectives.
You will be rewarded with:
£47,600 - £59,500 (depending on experience)
