Description

This role involves developing and managing security strategies, policies, and programs to assess, prioritize, and mitigate business risk with technology controls. Key responsibilities include creating and managing cybersecurity strategies and programs, providing expertise on cybersecurity solutions, protecting the organization from technology threats, and governing network-related security controls. The job also entails providing consultation and advice on technology controls and information security, contributing to risk and control assessments, ensuring regulatory compliance, and participating in incident responses. Additionally, the role involves adhering to internal policies and regulatory guidelines, contributing to process improvement, managing relationships with various stakeholders, and continuously enhancing knowledge in the field. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in cybersecurity and information technology, preferably in large financial institutions, along with advanced knowledge of IT security and risk disciplines.

Requirements

• Experience in developing cyber security/technology strategies, policies, and controls.

• 7+ years of relevant experience in cyber security and Information technology.

• Experience working in large financial institutions.

• University degree and Information security certification/accreditation an asset.

• Create and manage cyber security strategy, programs, and execution.

• Provide expertise for cyber security technical and non-technical solutions.

• Responsible for protecting the organization by mitigating and identifying technology threats.

• Define, develop, and implement Technology Controls/Information Security related policies, programs, and tools.
