JOB SUMMARY:The Subsidy Analyst primarily focuses on managing the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), with a significant portion of time dedicated to Quality Rated initiatives, followed by attention to claim revenue within the organization. This pivotal role involves maximizing monthly CACFP and Quality Rated contributions while adhering to established company policies and procedures. Collaborating closely with school management, the Subsidy Analyst works towards programmatic excellence by overseeing program intricacies. Their efforts drive the organization's commitment to delivering high-quality services and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices. Through meticulous attention to detail and proactive stakeholder engagement, the Subsidy Analyst contributes significantly to the organization's mission of providing exemplary care and support to the communities served.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Undertakes rigorous evaluations concerning the CACFP and Quality Rated status of classroom materials, teacher interactions, and classroom displays across all program classrooms. These assessments are geared towards not only evaluating but also enhancing the overall quality rating of the program.2. Establishes and sustains transparent and strategic communication channels with the Technical Assistance Coach provided by the state. This collaborative partnership aims to synergize efforts towards optimizing school outcomes within the program, fostering an environment conducive to continuous improvement.3. Orchestrates at least one in-depth, in-person observation collaboration session with the Technical Assistance Coach at each site. These sessions serve as pivotal forums for the exchange of profound insights, innovative strategies, and best practices, thereby fostering a culture of shared learning and professional growth.4. Vigilantly observes meal service operations across diverse age groups to ensure meticulous adherence to regulatory standards and guidelines. This includes a meticulous review of documentation such as Infant Enrollment Summaries (IES), Infant Affidavits, Meal Counts, and Menus, with a keen focus on accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.5. Drives monthly strategic meetings with school management to provide constructive feedback on program quality, elucidate areas of improvement, and collaboratively set center goals. These sessions serve as vital forums for strategic planning and alignment of efforts towards program enhancement.6. Offers tailored support and furnishes requisite materials to school staff and management as needed, nurturing an environment conducive to program enhancement and strict adherence to Quality Rated guidelines. This includes deploying resources and expertise to address identified areas of improvement effectively.7. Conducts quarterly reviews of subsidy storage practices and parental signatures to ensure unwavering compliance with regulatory mandates and organizational standards. These reviews are instrumental in upholding the integrity of operational processes and safeguarding organizational reputation.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS :

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Requires the ability to work well independently, demonstrated by resourcefulness and problem-solving skills.• Must demonstrate professional and effective written and verbal communication skills.• Must have knowledge of ITERS and ECERS• Must have knowledge of CACFP (Child and Adult Care Food Program), Quality Rated Program, and CAPS (Child and Parent Services) and related subsidy programs.• Ability to prioritize workload and short and long-term operating plans to create highly satisfied customer outcomes.• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling a high-volume workload dealing with priorities & deadlines.• Must be a highly effective communicator with interpersonal skills that allow successful business interactions with individuals of a variety of work styles, personalities, and career levels.• Must have the ability to be "hands-on" and assist in training work as needed.• Conduct quarterly reviews of subsidy storage and parent signatures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.• Requires ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Education or equivalency:

• Requires an associate degree in Early Childcare Education, or related field; or an equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result in the required specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work.

Experience:

• Must have a minimum of three (3) years of subsidy program related experience that demonstrates an understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.• Prefer previous school management experience and knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices within childcare settings.
