The Sr. Manager, Sourcing will report to the Director, Sourcing and be based in Atlanta, GA.

Job Description:

Lead a team responsible for Sourced Finished Goods, including management of category & new product procurement supporting multiple brands within Newell Brands Outdoor and Recreation segment. The role would be focused on development/execution of global procurement strategy, productivity delivery, supplier innovation development, and participation in cross-functional new product development teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for sourcing strategy development and implementation across multiple sub-categories with annual global spend responsibility ranging from $100M - $150M.

• Manage sub-category team members driving engagement and an attitude of continuous improvement & growth. Partner with regional procurement team members to enable efficient project execution and communication.

• Manage and drive continuous improvement metrics such as cost productivity, working capital, geographic supply diversification, and single source reliance.

• Key contributor to drive supplier innovation ideas and efficient partnership with cross-functional team members to support a new product development product pipeline.

• Support procurement partners to drive supply base compliance & improvements in social responsibility, sustainability, on-time delivery, and lead time responsiveness.

• Represent procurement as a key stakeholder to cross-functional peers from groups inclusive of R&D, quality, brand marketing, supply chain, and finance.

Job Requirements:

• 8+ years of sourcing experience or demonstrated performance managing comparable scope of responsibility.

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a business, engineering or related field.

• Demonstrated track record of leading teams and delivering results against performance metrics.

• Strong project management skills and experience.

• Global sourcing experience in consumer products preferred.

• Ability to lead/influence cross functional teams.

• Conflict management/resolution experience.

• Must have good communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Must be highly motivated and able to drive results independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 25%.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
