One of Insight Global's largest retial clients is looking for a principal engineer role. Here are the key aspects of their job description:

Technical Leadership: Principal engineers provide technical leadership and expertise. They guide the development of complex systems, architectures, and solutions.

Design and Architecture: They design and architect large-scale software systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

Code Review and Mentorship: Principal engineers review code, mentor junior engineers, and set coding standards. They help maintain high-quality codebases.

Problem Solving: They tackle challenging technical problems, troubleshoot issues, and propose innovative solutions.

Collaboration: Principal engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers.

Research and Innovation: They stay updated on industry trends, evaluate new technologies, and drive innovation within the organization.

Project Management: Principal engineers may lead projects, coordinate timelines, and manage technical deliverables.

Skills and Requirements

-10+ years of experience with Java

• Proficient Cloud (AWS or GCP) Experience

-Proficient experience with Cassandra

-Leadership experience working with large teams, up to 30 people

-Enterprise systems experience Retail Experience

GCP or AWS Certification

Customer Data experience null
