Boston Government Services is seeking a Systems Architect/Engineer/Administrator to support our client in Amarillo Texas.

Responsibilities:

Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing complex computer systems. Determines systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system security. Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system. identifies, analyzes, and resolves infrastructure support deficiencies. Develops and recommends corrective actions.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Server:

  • Experience with Cisco UCS server infrastructure.

  • Experience with Cisco UCS Manager and UCS Central.

  • Experience with VMWare in complex environments.

  • Experience with Windows Server environments.

  • Active Directory, Exchange, Skype, System Center Configuration Manager. Must be proficient in design and implementation of an Active Directory forest.

    Cloud Services (Microsoft or Amazon):

  • PaaS/SaaS/IaaS. Design, build, maintain, document, and automate technical processes and operations using preferred cloud platform. Design, implement, and test DR and business continuity processes using cloud services. Must have understanding of Authentication and Authorization, Identity and Access Management. Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments is a plus.

    Infrastructure:

  • Experience with Cisco UCS server infrastructure, UCS Manager, and UCS Central.

  • Experience with Netapp FAS storage devices, PureStorage and Pure Storage FlashBlade.

  • Experience with iSCSI, NAS, NFS, and Fibre Channel.

    Storage:

  • Experience with Netapp FAS storage devices.

  • Experience with PureStorage and PureStorage FlashBlade.

  • Experience with iSCSI, NAS, NFS, and Fibre Channel.

    General:

  • Experience running proof-of-concepts.

  • Familiarity with DevOps orchestration and automation concepts.

  • Knowledge of how different workloads such as SAP, virtual desktops, Oracle, ServiceNow function in various storage.

  • environments (iSCSI, NFS, etc.).

  • Understanding of server technologies such as Windows and Unix/Linux.

  • Understanding of Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure preferred).

  • Understanding of ITIL processes.

  • Strong cyber security background.

  • Experience with automation scripting languages such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.

  • Understanding of programming/scripting languages such as .NET, BASH, Perl, PowerShell, Python.

  • Must be US citizen.

  • Successful drug screening.

  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Q-Clearance.

  • At least 5-Years experience with a BA/BS.

    Choose ONE Option Regarding Location/Work Arrangement:

  • This position is located in Amarillo, TX and is a Hybrid Work Arrangement.

  • Work schedule is 9/80 M-Fri.

    Starting compensation for this role typicallysalary ranges between $175,000 - $205,000 annuallyis commensurate with experience relative to the position and may vary based on candidate geographical location.
